Graduation is an important tradition of V.K. Tawna High which is organised every year in honour of the outgoing students.
On Friday, April 14th, 2023, the annual graduation ceremony for class of 2022 was held in the school’s senior hall. The ceremony began at 10:30 a.m and was attended by 47 graduands, along with their families, special invitees, faculty members, school managing board members, former staff and alumni. The theme for this year’s graduation ceremony was taken from Isaiah 43:4, “You are Precious and Honoured in His sight”. The graduands were individually called, as they stood on the stage, to receive their mementoes and titles.
Rev. Salem L.Hmar, Presbytery Superintendent, EFCI graced the ceremony as the Commencement Speaker, exhorting and blessing the graduands. The ceremony also featued phenomenal performances of Christina Shakum, Guest Artist of the event, who had the audience croning along to her songs.
The dance club and the Music Club also gave exceptional performances, which have been regular components of the school’s graduation Ceremony. All in all, it was an enjoyable and great affair.
